Tumbler with the Washi Paper

I have been drowning in making seals, lots and lots of seals the last couple of days and if orders would push through, I would have to make around 500 pcs more! And at the same time I am juggling making lesson plans for the Japanese kids. I am really enjoying teaching them and I hate to give them back to Shei at the end of the month! I would surely miss them! They are just adorable. I miss my old job and if working there doesnt make me sick all the time, I sometimes think about going back. I just love kids but I learned the hard way their virus is sooo toxic!!!!

I also feel like my head is going to explode with all the ideas I got and I really wished I got all the time in the world to just sit down and work on them. I would post them once I am done, cant wait to share it with all of you. I opted to work on the tumbler since its all just measuring and cutting.

A couple of months ago, I stumbled upon tumblers on sale, I got a dozen thinking I should personalize them with the twilight design, I didnt get a lot coz we already have so much stuff in the house and I am not sure how well the project would turn out. So you guys know that all these time I have been working with the washi paper and it never hit me at all, I wanted to kick myself for not getting all the tumblers on sale that day!!! Jeremy and I were walking off base last week when the thought finally hit me that I should try using the washi paper. We went back to the store with plans of hoarding all of it and there is no more tumblers, all gone!!!

I removed all of the papers inside and used it to trace the washi paper and Voila! Instant project! So lovely, I dont want to sell them at all!

I made 3 red ones for Mai, Ate Lisa and Ryshel who just celebrated their birthdays recently, they all love red! Thank you guys for being there for me all the time. I am really thankful for the gift of your friendship.

Have a great week everyone!
