Cupcake Themed Personalized Stir Sticks for Aizhamae's 6th Birthday Party

It's been more than a month since I made my last post and I am still drowning in orders! I spend most of my days on the phone or online answering inquiries and talking to clients if I am not working or worrying about the orders I have although I have been out shopping the last couple of days with different friends which was very therapeutic! I really needed it! But part of being crafty which makes it so wonderful is shopping for supplies, so yes, thats my excuse! Oh, I also went on a short vacation to the Philippines when my husband's ship went there two weeks ago. It was a spur of the moment decision and the shortest I have been there, 8 days surely was not enough but I was able to buy some much needed supplies and spent some time with a few friends and families. All in all it was great. Jeremy and I will try to enjoy Japan next month since it would be our last time to spend the holidays here.
Oh, I would surely miss Japan =(

Its almost 3am and I guess I better get some much needed sleep since morning would come to soon and  will be a start of another super crafty and productive day.

Dear God, I love my life so much!

Have a blessed week everyone!

Cupcake Themed Invitation for Aizhamae's 6th Birthday Party

My friend Ana sent me a message asking me to make some invitations, stir sticks and stickers for her daughters 6th birthday. Its a little bit late to work on a more elaborate invitation so I just did a simple 4x6 one since I would still ship all the stuff to California. Within an hour I was able to work around the design she showed me but since Im in Japan and theres the time difference to consider I have to wait until she's up before I can print it out. And when I was about to print it out, my printer run out of ink! I have another printer around the house so I opened that one and I was really happy about how much nicer it is than the current one we have been using, but for some unknown reason, it stopped printing green, so the first batch of invitations I've printed all pink coz the printer did a continuous job without any warnings! I thought it was out of ink too but did a print report and it was not the case at all. Hopefully I can make it still work! I cant wait for my laser printer to get here!

So moving on, heres the design that I've made, I just started using Lightroom 3 to edit and organize our pictures and I am still learning how to use it and I was trying to blur or cover up Ana's address and contact details coz we surely dont want anybody stalking her!

I suggested my cupcake seals too!

Ive used pink and lavender envelopes that I got from Walmart last year. I wished the box set is all pink but it is also assorted with blue, yellow and green (I think).

It is way too cute! Next post would be the cupcake stir sticks =)

Washi Pencils New Packaging

Three weeks ago Jing and I went shopping for new washi papers and everything is just so nice I dont even want to use them up! Im so thankful coz Jing helped me wrapped more than 1500 pencils! All I did is stamp all the seals and wrap it in ribbon, she even did all the packaging! Its amazing how a simple ribbon and faux wax seals could do! My clients are all thinking Im so good in making all the seals but the truth is I still have messed up ones and Ive been saving them up and Ive recycled it all and used it on this project.

Toy Story Cupcake Toppers

I got a last minute request to make cupcake toppers so I only did two layers instead of the 3 layers I usually do. I am working on so many projects lately I dont have time to update here. I have orders all the way to October aside from the craft shows which is really good coz it helps me stay busy while Jeremy is away on deployment. =) I will be having the Navy Exchange Fall Bazaar next week and I am so excited, after that I have to work on stuff for a friends baby shower for a girl at the end of the month so days are really passing by so quickly!

Faux Wax Seal Inspirational Magnets

Ive been meaning to make magnets with the monogram seals but never have gotten around doing it so when I got done working on all the orders the other day I decided I have to or I would forever procrastinate.

Ive used ceramic magnets on the back.

I decided to use the same packaging I use for the washi magnets although it is more challenging coz I have to make sure the letters  are neatly placed inside the plastic.

Id like to make more but I have to stop myself! I will have to make some using names next time. I have tons of projects to work on coz Im having the Navy Exchange Fall Bazaar next month. Im really looking forward to this one coz I have a lot of new stuff to sell =)

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Keep on dreaming!

Sally's Heartful Creations New Acetate Packaging for the Peel and Stick Faux Wax Seals

I just came back from a very much needed vacation but also a business trip on the side. I was really looking forward to this one coz I would be getting custom made acetate boxes for the wax seals. Due to the volume of orders I am getting I need to change the packaging, instead of peeling it off one by one and sticking it to a sticker/wax paper and arranging it like crazy, Ive opted to just put them in acetate boxes, it saves me lots of time and a lot of physical labor. The company would only accept a minimum order of a 1000pieces but since the box has different sizes for the top and bottom part, I have to order 2000 pieces in total. Ive placed an order and we were told to go back after two weeks. My older brother picked it up for me and he was surprised on how heavy it is! It weighs 35 pounds for such a small box!

I was really excited to come back home and start working on my orders. Even though Ive been on vacation, my order inquiries everyday were non stop and I have to turn down a lot of clients coz of the time restrictions. Im really grateful for all of them, they have been telling me that from looking at so many wax seals, mine is the nicest and prettiest they have seen. I am very fortunate to be working from home and be able to earn an income doing something that I really love.

So after a week of working on rush orders, Im really happy with the outcome!

Have a blessed weekend everyone!
